State Police, will conduct a Child Safety Seat Checkpoint at Lee Volvo
at 962 Worcester Rd. (Rt. 9 Eastbound) Wellesley, MA. (MAP)
10:00am - 2:00pm
The following State Police personnel headed this checkpoint held Saturday January
21st 2006:

* Sgt. Ross Panacopoulos – State Police Traffic Programs Section
For each of the vehicles that comes through the checkpoint, safety-seat technicians spend a significant amount of time thoroughly inspecting each vehicle and its safety seat. After ensuring that a safety seat has no defects and is not subject to a manufacturer recall, technicians appropriately install the seat into the vehicle. No child will leave the checkpoint without being in an appropriate safety seat that is appropriately installed. Technicians also spend as much time as needed to educate each parent or caretaker on the importance of having appropriate safety seats that are properly installed.
